2007 -- May -- Hells Canyon -- Advrider group

After two days of riding through the Hells Canyon area solo, I met up with at group of Advrider.com riders. I rode with them from Clarkston to Joseph, retracing my route of Thursday. After lunch in Joseph, I took the 75 miles of pavement back to Clarkston and headed back to Seattle.

  • Mac's cycle in Clarkston, Wa.  There was about 40 riders that met that Saturday morning.  Many came up from Boise, but some were local and some came from as far as Seattle (me).

  • I dont think I stood up more than twice on this route.  Of course there is considerable weight difference between a GS and a KLR.  The big bigs did great on this road.
